Our outpatient clinics are organized to provide services in General Endocrinology, Thyroid Disorders, Diabetes, Obesity, Lipid Metabolism, Hypertension, Pituitary, Adrenal, and Metabolic Bone Diseases. These chronic conditions not only increase health risks but also significantly affect quality of life.
At the Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases Clinic of Güven Hospital, both outpatient and inpatient services are provided using all the possibilities of modern medicine within a multidisciplinary framework. Diabetes diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment are carried out by a specialized team of physicians, diabetes nurses, and dietitians. For thyroid diseases, patients receive up-to-date, evidence-based medical care in accordance with international guidelines and scientific data.
Thyroid ultrasonography, one of the most valuable diagnostic tools in the follow-up of thyroid diseases, and fine-needle aspiration biopsy when indicated, are performed by our specialists. In addition, for patients diagnosed with toxic thyroid nodules or thyroid cancer, all necessary medical facilities for treatment and follow-up are available at our hospital.
Both surgical procedures and low- or high-dose radioactive iodine treatments are performed within our hospital by experienced specialists. During follow-up, comprehensive and reliable evaluation is provided through clinical assessment as well as imaging methods such as ultrasonography, radioactive iodine scanning, and scintigraphy.
All types of endocrine diagnostic tests can be performed, including the Glucose Tolerance Test, ACTH (Synacthen) Stimulation Test, Insulin-Induced Hypoglycemia Test, Glucose–Growth Hormone Suppression Test, Dexamethasone Suppression Test, Water Deprivation Test, Salt Loading Test, 72-Hour Fasting Test, TRH Stimulation Test, GnRH Stimulation Test, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (Pregnyl) Test, CRH Stimulation Test, and GHRH Stimulation Test, all conducted by experienced endocrinologists.
Under the guidance of Turkey’s leading interventional radiologists, specialized procedures such as Inferior Petrosal Sinus Sampling with CRH Stimulation Test and Adrenal Venous Sampling for Aldosterone and Cortisol evaluation are also performed.
