Our Quality Indicators
GÜVEN HOSPITAL
OUR QUALITY INDICATORS
In an institution that aims to provide human-centered, high-quality, and safe healthcare services, measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of every service within the healthcare system is of great importance.
While the measurement results numerically demonstrate the level of success in selected areas, they also allow us to monitor the quality of healthcare services, identify unnecessary or incorrect procedures, and control the system. In addition, they provide insight into whether the predetermined quality targets in healthcare services have been achieved and whether the service quality is at an acceptable level.
As Güven Hospital, we will share with you various quality indicators and results in the field of “Inpatient Satisfaction.”
Under each indicator, you can find the meaning, reason for measurement, method, results, and comparisons.

Why Do We Monitor?
Understanding patient experiences and making improvements accordingly can only be achieved by directly asking patients.
Patient satisfaction, one of the primary goals of healthcare delivery, reflects the extent to which patient expectations and needs are met.
Measuring satisfaction is one of the main tools for continuous quality improvement in healthcare institutions and for identifying how patients perceive their hospital experience.
To improve the quality of healthcare and thus patient satisfaction, it is crucial to measure and accurately evaluate patient feedback regarding their hospital experiences.
Which Method Do We Use?
HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) is a comprehensive and customized survey consisting of core question sets designed specifically for hospitals. It is used in all hospitals in the United States to measure patient experiences. This validated and reliable survey is also used at Güven Hospital to measure inpatient experiences and satisfaction.
All the results you will see on these pages also include comparisons with all hospitals in the United States as published on the Hospital Compare website.
