PERSON-CENTERED COMMUNICATION AND PATIENT RIGHTS

Patient rights represent the reflection of fundamental human rights within the field of healthcare. Everyone’s ability to benefit from patient rights in a manner befitting human dignity can only be achieved through the joint commitment of patients and healthcare professionals to uphold these rights.

Güven Healthcare Group aims to provide you and your loved ones with a positive experience. As the Patient Rights Department, we carefully evaluate all feedback received, conduct detailed investigations, and always provide a response regarding the issue.

At Güven Hospital, the rate of positively resolved complaints in 2022 was 85%.

  • Complying with the rules and procedures of the healthcare institution
  • Participating actively as a member of the diagnosis and treatment team
  • Providing complete and accurate information about their health
  • Attending check-ups as scheduled and providing feedback on treatment progress
  • Complying with appointment times and notifying the institution of any changes
  • Respecting the rights of other patients, including those with priority
  • Respecting the rights of hospital staff
  • Refraining from verbal or physical aggression toward staff

OUR PATIENT RIGHTS POLICY

  • To ensure that complaints, requests, and suggestions received from patients and their families related to the services provided at Güven Hospital and the Çayyolu Healthy Living Campus are resolved as quickly as possible, necessary information is provided, and a standardized method is implemented to measure, evaluate, and improve satisfaction levels.
  • Patient rights management aims to increase patient satisfaction, ensure that everyone can benefit from patient rights, protect against violations, and, when necessary, enable access to legal remedies. It defines both patient rights and responsibilities to ensure patient/staff satisfaction and safety.

WHAT IS PATIENT EXPERIENCE?

Patient experience includes patients’ interactions with the healthcare system, from health plans and hospitals to physicians, nurses, and other staff, as well as the care they receive from clinical practices and other healthcare institutions.

Assessing patient experience, along with other components such as care effectiveness and safety, is essential to ensuring comprehensive healthcare quality.

Person-Centered Care Experience Measurement is conducted face-to-face during visits to patients’ rooms.

This process has been ongoing since January 6, 2020. Feedback collected during these visits provides opportunities for improvement and allows for real-time responses to patients’ needs.
