Prof. Dr. Fuat Atalay, Head of the Gastroenterological Surgery Department at Güven Hospital, has been working in this field for over 30 years and has previously practiced at Port Royal Hospital in Australia, focusing on laparoscopic techniques. Dr. Atalay performs approximately 250–300 minimally invasive surgeries each year and has completed more than 300 esophageal and pancreatic cancer surgeries, as well as over 800 gastric cancer procedures.
