The Güven Hospital Organ Transplant Center provides care within a multidisciplinary treatment approach involving transplant surgeons, anesthesiologists, nephrologists, and gastroenterologists. Pre-transplant evaluations for patients awaiting liver or kidney transplantation, as well as their potential live donors, are carried out in the relevant units of our Organ Transplant Center. Following these assessments, each case is reviewed by either the Liver Transplant or Kidney Transplant Council, depending on the type of organ, and a final decision regarding transplantation is made.
Our primary goal is to ensure that our patients undergo a successful transplant operation and experience a smooth postoperative recovery period. In the long term, our main objective is to provide ongoing follow-up and education after transplantation, helping patients reintegrate into their families and society as healthy and active individuals.
