The Güven Hospital Organ Transplantation Center provides care within a multidisciplinary treatment model, with the participation of transplant surgeons, anesthesiology specialists, nephrologists, and gastroenterologists. For patients applying for liver or kidney transplantation, all pre-transplant preparation and evaluation processes—along with those of suitable living donors, when applicable—are carried out meticulously within the relevant departments of the Organ Transplantation Center.
Transplant candidates and donors are comprehensively evaluated through clinical assessments, laboratory testing, and imaging methods. Based on the findings, patients are reviewed by the Liver Transplant Committee or the Kidney Transplant Committee, depending on the type of organ, and the transplantation decision is finalized within the framework of scientific and ethical criteria.
