Orientation and On-the-Job Training System
Orientation and On-the-Job Training System
Orientation and on-the-job training programs are organized for all employees who start working at Güven Healthcare Group. The purpose of our orientation program is to introduce our new team members to the institution’s mission, vision, and values, organizational structure, corporate culture, working principles and core policies, occupational health and safety, hand hygiene, basic life support, waste management, emergency action plans, hospital operating systems, call center and communication network, quality management system, corporate communication activities, and performance management system dynamics.
Newly joined colleagues are introduced to Güven Healthcare Group and the physical environment through our orientation program, facilitating their adaptation to both the job and the institution while meeting other team members. Once the General Institutional Orientation and departmental orientations are completed, the “On-the-Job Training” process begins for our employees. During this period—which can last up to three months in some departments—employees receive comprehensive on-the-job training alongside their department manager and/or experienced team members until they gain the competence to fulfill their duties and responsibilities independently. The training covers topics such as department dynamics, organizational structure, quality documents, forms used, department-specific SWOT analysis, departmental objectives, frequently collaborating departments, encountered problems and solutions, technical support systems, and the hospital operating network.
